TULIP MOON

from $85.00

Goldwork Embriodery Kit

The embroidery design measures 7.5cm (3”) in diameter.

The pair of stylized tulips are embroidered onto deep aqua blue silk using a small variety of metallic threads and coloured silk thread.

I used my TULIP MOON on the lid of a timber pot. The design would look equally pretty made into a beautiful ornament simply by adding back and a hanging loop.

The embroidery kit includes everything you need for the embroidery. You have option to transfer the design yourself using the full-size pattern in the Standard Kit or a Traced Kit where I will trace the design onto the silk for you.

Tulip Moon is embroidered using a small variety of basic goldwork techniques and was designed as an introduction to goldwork.

This is a great choice if you have little or no prior experience with metal thread embroidery. However, I recommend you have some experience with general surface embroidery.
